My main focus for commissions is oil landscapes, typically holiday photos or paintings of clients homes. In some cases the scenes are exactly as Life, in others a degree of creativity is possible it just depends on what you would like and whether I think I can tackle it!
When fulfilling a commission I would expect to do pencil sketches so that all elements of the painting are agreed before committing to paint. In large or complex paintings I would also do a small oil sketch so that colours and mood can be agreed. The final work is priced unframed.
Prices vary according to the size of canvas required and whether I incur significant expenses completing the work. As a guideline 30x24cm panel starts at around £200; 50x40cm at around £300; 56x46cm at around £350.

2018: Balfour Estate Agents for 3 paintings featuring 17 buildings. Commissioned as leaving presents for 3 partners and each painting contains buildings relevant to the individual recipient plus the central office.
2017: 3 commissions completed 3 for Martin Reddington Associates for a digital calendar. The calendar celebrates the work MRA have done with a number of local councils and the paintings feature significant buildings in the respective council areas.
